Deborah Bay is a Houston photographer who specializes in constructed studio shots and photographic composites. She often abstracts reality through color manipulation, slow shutter speed and a macro lens. Her work has been exhibited at the Galveston Arts Center, Dallas Contemporary, and the Center for Photography at Woodstock (New York), among other venues. Her photographs are represented in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She has served on the board of the Houston Center for Photography and is currently a member of its Advisory Council.
